A fan of STALKER presented the concept of a remake of the first part on Unreal Engine 5 [VIDEO]
It’s been 15 years since the release of STALKER, and fans are still experimenting with the game, porting it to other engines. Artist Yevgeny Levitsky decided to imagine what the “Shadow of Chernobyl” would look like on Unreal Engine 5.
The enthusiast made a small trailer for a possible remake, where he showed updated locations and more. For example, a fan included gameplay elements such as searching for anomalies, interacting with objects, modifying weapons, and more. In addition, Levitsky published a selection of colorful wallpapers with frames on UE5.
Previously, 17 GB of data about STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the long-awaited continuation of the series, was leaked to the network . Despite the leak, the developers have stated that they are not going to freeze the project, and production is proceeding at the same pace.
