Budget Redmi A2 on Android Go got a large display and a capacious battery
The catalog of smartphones of the Redmi brand has been replenished with the inexpensive model Redmi A2. It is positioned as an entry-level gadget with a lightweight version of Android, the key features of which are balanced hardware for solving everyday tasks and good autonomy. In addition, the company introduced the Plus-version of the novelty, which has only one difference from the base model.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.52-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels and a 5-megapixel front camera. The MediaTek Hellio G36 processor is responsible for the performance of the device, the amount of RAM in different configurations is 2 or 3 GB, and the built-in storage is 32 GB. The dual main camera includes an 8-megapixel sensor and an auxiliary depth sensor.
The novelty is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with support for 10 W charging (micro-USB port). The manufacturer chose the undemanding Android 12 (Go Edition) as the OS. In addition, the novelty received a classic 3.5 mm audio jack. The Redmi A2+ model has the same specifications, but in addition it is equipped with a fingerprint scanner on the back cover.
