Developed smartphone screen with record-breaking thin bezels

According to well-known insider and blogger Ice Universe, the Chinese company ChinaStar Display, owned by the notorious TCL, has developed a display for smartphones, which features record-breaking thin bezels, including the bottom one. 

Judging by the published image , we are waiting for smartphones with a bottom bezel thickness of only 1 mm, while on the other three sides they will be even thinner. For comparison, the current record holder in this regard is Xiaomi 13, in which the bottom frame has a width of 1.81 mm, and on the other sides – 1.61 mm. However, there is information that the new iPhone 15 series will have 1.55 mm wide frames on all sides. 

There is speculation that the new screen with record thin bezels is again used by Xiaomi in its next flagship smartphones of the 14th series, which are expected to be presented later this year.
