Haier unveils 9kg washing machine with self-cleaning descaling function
Haier has announced the launch of the Top Load Washing Machine Series Top Load Washing Machine. The novelty is interesting due to the large capacity of the drum and received the anti-scale function, the smart wash mode and other useful features.
Haier’s patented anti-calc technology uses 20 miniature balls to clean the machine’s work surface. Driven by streams of water, they, according to the manufacturer, hit the walls of the drum up to 25 million times in one wash cycle. The powerful water flow also prevents the accumulation of dirt between the elements of the internal structure.
The intelligent wash mode automatically selects the appropriate amount of water based on the weight of the laundry loaded into the drum, while the quick wash mode reduces the cycle time to 15 minutes. The Near Zero Pressure feature also ensures optimal inlet water pressure even at low head, which is especially beneficial for multi-storey dwellers.
To drain the water, the drum of the machine is equipped with 720 holes with a diameter of 2.2 mm, and convex elements resembling pillows are designed for delicate washing. In the event of a power outage, an automatic restart function is provided.
The Haier Top Load Washing Machine Series in 8kg and 9kg versions is already on sale in India for $520 and $556, respectively. The manufacturer has not yet announced the availability of new items in other regions.
