HUAWEI P60 and P60 Pro launch smart cases with 5G modems
Smartphones HUAWEI P60 and P60 Pro do not support 5G networks – but the Soyealink brand undertook to “fix” this feature of the new products. The company introduced special cases that allow smartphones to work in fifth-generation networks.
The size and design of the Soyealink bumper almost does not differ from the usual covers: it is made of polyurethane and minimally increases the dimensions of the smartphone. At the same time, the accessory is equipped with an eSIM module, a 5G modem and a dual-core processor operating at a frequency of 1.35 GHz.
To connect with a smartphone, a Type-C pass-through port is provided, allowing you to connect to a device for data exchange without losing the function of fast 88-watt charging and support for the OTG protocol.

After installing the case, HUAWEI P60 and P60 Pro will receive 5G support with the following specifications:
- 5G-Sub 6
- 3GPP R15
- SA: N1, N3, N28, N41, N77, N78, N79
- NSA: B3+N41, B3+N78, B3+N79, B1+N78, B1+N41, B39+N41, B39+N79, B41+N79, B5+N78, B8+N78
The connection process is simple: after connecting via Type-C, the smartphone will offer to set up an eSIM, and a 5G icon will appear in the status bar. The price of the covers has not yet been announced. A similar accessory for the previous HUAWEI flagship cost $117.
