Insider: vivo X Fold 2 will be the first foldable smartphone powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

A screenshot has appeared on the network with the results of testing the yet-to-be-presented vivo X Fold 2 smartphone in the AnTuTu benchmark. It demonstrates not only the computing capabilities, but also the detailed technical characteristics of the upcoming foldable novelty.

According to the image, vivo X Fold 2 powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor scored 1,318,092 on AnTuTu. The tested version of the gadget had 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, a 512 GB UFS 4.0 drive and a 120 Hz display (presumably Samsung E6 with a resolution of 2K).

Insiders also report that a fingerprint scanner will be built into the external screen of the novelty, and a triple camera with a main 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 sensor with OIS, a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 ultra-wide sensor and a similar sensor with a telephoto lens will be located on the back panel. The release of vivo X Fold 2 is expected at the end of 2023.
