Lenovo Legion R45w-30 unveiled: a huge monitor for gamers for $999
Lenovo has expanded the catalog of branded gaming monitors with a new model called the Legion R45w-30. In addition to an impressive diagonal, it boasts a fast response, accurate color reproduction and “e-sports” refresh rate, as well as an expanded set of interface connectors.

The monitor is equipped with a 44.5-inch curved VA-matrix with a resolution of 5120×1440 pixels (32:9), a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz (overclocked to 170 Hz) and wide horizontal and vertical viewing angles (178 °). The maximum brightness of the backlight is 500 nits, the contrast ratio is 3000: 1, the response time (MPRT) is 1 ms. 120% sRGB and 115% DCI-P3 coverage is claimed. In addition, the monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro adaptive sync technology.
The Legion R45w-30 interface set includes USB Type-C ports (output power up to 75W), HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, a USB hub with Type-A connectors, and an audio jack. The monitor stand allows you to adjust the tilt of the display, but does not allow you to change its orientation to portrait. The Lenovo Legion R45w-30 will go on sale in the US in August for a suggested retail price of $999.
