Lenovo Legion Slim laptops get even more powerful and get AI cooling
Lenovo has unveiled the 2023 Legion Slim series of gaming laptops. The updated catalog of the brand includes models Slim 7i, Slim 7, Slim 5 and Slim 5i with 16-inch screens, as well as the first 14-inch version of the Legion Slim 5 laptop in the line.

New items are equipped with Intel processors up to Core i9-13900H (Slim 5 and Slim 5i – up to Core i7-13700H) and AMD Ryzen 9 up to 7940HS inclusive, as well as NVIDIA video cards up to GeForce RTX 4070. The maximum amount of RAM is 32 GB, solid-state drive – up to 1 TB.
The laptops are available in a variety of display configurations including 2560×1600 pixels/240Hz/500 nits and 3200×2000 pixels/165Hz/430 nits. In all cases, the coverage of the DCI-P3 color space is 100%. Among other features of laptops, the manufacturer notes fast charging technology (from 0% to 100% in 80 minutes), the presence of Wi-Fi 7 modules, as well as the AI Engine + AI chip, which automatically adjusts hardware performance in different scenarios, keeping a balance between heating and noise from the cooling system.

Both versions of the Legion Slim 7 will start at $1,769.99, while the 16-inch Slim 5 and Slim 5i will start at $1,199.99 and $1,349.99, respectively. Versions with Intel chips will hit the market in April, with AMD processors in May. The 14-inch Legion Slim 5 will go on sale in October at a price not yet announced.
