Origami from steel. The Stilride 1 electric scooter unveiled with 120 km range
Swedish manufacturer Stilride has unveiled The Stilride 1 electric scooter, which is made using “industrial origami” technology. The novelty does not have a single welded seam in the design, and its cruising range is 120 km.

One of the key goals in creating The Stilride 1 is to care for nature. In addition to the electric motor, which eliminates harmful emissions, the chassis of the electric scooter is made entirely from recycled steel sheets. The Stilride 1 also has an 8 kW (10.7 hp) engine and is capable of speeds up to 100 km/h.

The scooter is powered by a pair of 5.1 kWh lithium-ion batteries, while providing a range of 120 km. According to the manufacturer, it takes only 4 hours to charge the device. The scooter is also compatible with smartphones, which allows you to track its location, control the battery level and carry out diagnostics. The 13-inch wheels are equipped with an ISR brake system (210 mm front and 195 mm rear) complete with dual-channel ABS.

The Stilride 1 was estimated at 15,000 euros, and its deliveries are scheduled for next year only. It is noted that the first batch of scooters will be released under the name Limited Founders Edition and will differ in appearance.
