The authors of STALKER 2 denied the rumors about the freezing of the project
The passion for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl continues. Last week, developers began to be blackmailed by leaking game data to the Internet. After that, one of the distributors of the leak said that production was slow from the very beginning, and the authors knew perfectly well that the shooter would not hit the shelves in the time frame announced in 2021. Representatives of GSC Game World decided to comment on this information.
According to the community manager, the project is not at all frozen, as it might seem, and production is proceeding at the same pace – “nothing has changed.” The statement was posted on the official Discord channel .
Recall that last week 17 GB of various STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl materials were safely leaked to the network – its script, screenshots, art. The GSC Game World team asks fans not to distribute all this data before release. Which, if you’re lucky, will take place in 2023.
