The New Service Changes the Person in the Video to any Character [VIDEO]

A startup called Wonder Dynamics has announced Wonder Studio software that allows you to replace real actors with convincing computer characters in just a few clicks. The built-in AI independently calculates camera movement, lighting, color and completely replaces the actor with computer graphics – before, special studios did this when creating films.

The Wonder Studio service was launched on March 9, 2023 by Wonder Dynamics, founded by Nikolai Todorovich and actor Ty Sheridan from the movie Ready Player One. The program works through a regular browser and allows you to add CGI characters to the scene by simply dragging them onto the video. The platform automatically analyzes and converts the movements of actors into 3D skeletal animation, makes 3D camera tracking, creates dynamic masks for actors with the possibility of further cutting them out of the video, and independently adjusts the lighting and composition of CGI characters to the real environment. 

Although the platform is now in beta, it is already being used by directors the Russo brothers for the upcoming Netflix film The Electric State, based on the book of the same name by Simon Stålenhag, starring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt.
