Viewsonic has launched two LED projectors aimed at gamers. Both models are made in the style of the Xbox and boast high-resolution pictures, support for game mode when connected to the console, as well as a number of other interesting features.

The ViewSonic X1-4K model supports a projection diagonal of 60 to 150 inches at a distance of 1.53 to 4.98 m from the screen. The optical and digital zoom ratios are 1.3 and 0.8-2, respectively, the maximum image resolution is 3840×2160 pixels, the brightness is 1208 ANSI lumens. Coverage of 125% of the Rec.709 color gamut is claimed.

You can broadcast the image from the console through the HDMI 2.0 port (latency at 4.2 ms). The maximum image refresh rate is 240 Hz. It also supports video transmission from a smartphone or other devices via the USB Type-C connector.

Thanks to HDMI-CEC support, the device can independently turn on with the Xbox, as well as switch to game mode. Two 6-watt Harman Kardon speakers are responsible for the acoustic capabilities of the novelty. According to the specification, the resource of the LED element is up to 30,000 hours.

ViewSonic X2-4K has almost the same characteristics, but there are differences: for example, the projection brightness of this model is up to 2150 ANSI lumens, and the picture diagonal is from 60 to 120 inches at a distance of 0.92 to 2.2 m. already on sale in Europe starting at $1,485. For comparison, the RRP for the Xbox Series X console is $499.
