ViewSonic unveils ultra-light pen tablet for professionals
ViewSonic has released the flagship ID1230 graphics tablet for artists and designers, featuring a 12-inch display instead of the usual touchpad. The novelty is positioned as the lightest solution in its class. In addition, the vendor introduced two more affordable traditional models.

ViewSonic ID1230 received a 12-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a brightness of 250 nits. It has 90% Adobe RGB and 85% NTSC coverage. The device comes with a stylus that does not require recharging. With it, the tablet recognizes up to 8192 pressure levels when tilted up to 60 °. There are eight hot keys to the left of the work area, and the screen is protected by anti-reflective glass.
The novelty weighs 600 grams – according to the vendor, this is the lightest device in its segment. The graphics tablet is compatible with Windows or macOS operating systems – it connects to a computer via USB Type-C and mini-HDMI connectors.

The more affordable ViewSonic PF720 weighs 190 grams and has a 7-inch touchpad and five buttons. Model PF1020 with eight buttons and a 10-inch panel weighs 380 g. The start date of sales and the price of new products will be announced later.
